The Chronicles of Dathra certainly fits that description; it is self-published Kuwaiti chick-lit.

The reason why I brought up Danderma and this specific post of hers is because I’m about fed up with this notion that so many people in Kuwait have about blogging. That false notion being that making money off your blog is wrong, deceitful, unworthy, disloyal, or selling out. Back in December the much loved and very popular Turkish cafe Mado finally opened its doors in Kuwait. The opening followed a long period of anticipation on instagram with many devoted followers asking about the opening date. I was travelling when it did open, early December 2014, and I’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews about it all of them advising me me to wait a bit until they get on their Danderma 's Lists in All Cities.

The chocolate variety I received was vast and very delicious and needless to say nothing lasted a long time at all. The invitation, like the Lush store itself, was quiet fragrant and gathered in a signature Lush knot-wrap -or a bogsha as we call it in Kuwait- with my blog name Danderma written with beautiful Arabian calligraphy on the card attached. 34.7k Followers, 621 Following, 5,859 Posts - See Instagram photos and videos from Danderma (@danderma) Today while I was walking in the Avenues, I saw Mado Dondurma, which is the same concept, but focused on desserts only.
